NBAPA: No HGH Tests

The NBA Players Association has joined their counterparts at the NFLPA in refusing to permit blood tests for Human Growth Hormone. One of the uses of HGH is to help people with low levels of naturally-occurring growth hormone produce it so as to reach a desirable height. Hmmm, a league populated by abnormally tall players; nope, I don't see any reason for HGH use there. Nope, no possible use for HGH in the NBA at all. Billy Hunter is absolutely in the right on this particular issue.
